People who write poetry are a different breed
They truly are. Many of them live in rarified air
People who write poetry are a different breed.
They truly are. Many of them live in rarified air
they refuse to let earthly matters touch them
Oh they know about them they live and work
raise families and commune with neighbors etc
yet they hold themselves above inanities of earth
They are the ones called daydreamers, dreamers
visionaries, and some call them lesser names
loonies nuts goof-offs,but in truth they live inside
their words At least the serious poets do, not the
wannabe's they just use words in wily ways many to
hurt,others to vent their emotions that are held in
check in mundane lives.

Some have a true desire to make a difference in the
world to make it more beautiful, but they take their
eye off the goal.They get caught up in cyber affairs
that bring a host of all the everyday things into
the mix, they try so hard to stay away from. It is
their own fault they can't control their passions so
their quest for the best goes out the window when
desire strikes,or some need desires stirred like some
need alcohol to release inhibitions and stir emotions
even if they are "virtual"...
That's when we have the makings of an explosion
because like all of life there are many infidelities.
many prey on women/men with their words and when
they use up the ambrosia they go on to another flower
just like the bee's and if they stay on the same site
and practrice this behavior,eventually they get in
trouble because not every one likes being passed over
for another conquest.
Not everyone likes to be told they are beautiful
the one and only and sweet talked til they are under
a spell, only to be told to go to hell when the need
for a new conquest beckons,and with lyricists and
poets they have it happen often because they need
fresh inspiration for their work, so we are all
supposed to understand it is only fair they can use
poetic licence so to speak because they are the
creators of magical words and all must bow to their
imaginations regardless of how ignoble they may
become.
So aside from the patriotic,political,and pissed off
peace pushers we have affairs and smears unjustified
blurred without truth just thrown around by everyone
into a pot so no one knows who all, is right wrong or
indifferent or who the real culprit is and so it goes as the Authors Den of iniquity World Turns, Enjoy the Soap Opera friends it seems some people like everything out on the table...And you have to guess which is which among us;-)
