Prove me wrong if you can... We have the concept of God all wrong. Most of us see Him in whatever way He was presented to us by family, tradition, friend, and church. Until you began to form your own ideas, but even then, they are a hodge-podge of all that you inhaled of religion throughout your life, but rearranged to suit yourself. Perhaps you have a few new tenets and ideas, but none that aren't documented in books as being the norm.
Even after I came to believe I had a born-again experience, I still held to the values of the gospels as infallible truth. That was because the interpretations came from errant men. Having begun a journey many years ago on my own with God's guidance, I have some findings I wish to share with you. They are my own, have no religious affiliation, and would probably have me ousted from any denomination there is,if they read them. Not that some of them aren't closely related to other's beliefs. But, I warn you read them at your own peril;-). First you must throw out any thought of denominations. God knows none.
The concept of God: God is...nothingness...therefore He is everything...He is not transcendant.He is transcendence
He has no end because He has no beginning...He/ it /she/ is! Is what? Is everything, everywhere, always ,because He is not in any thing, everything is in Him. Since the universe and any other place, world, or thing that exists, is in Him, that means not only good, but evil is in Him.I use the Him, because it is the way He has always been referred to. However God is He/she/it, and whatever else we don't know of, and should be taught that way.
In some gnostic writings it mentions that eventually everything must become "Him" so women and all things will be known as "Him" in a time to come. Just wanted to share that for those who never heard it;-) I found it very interesting. Wonder how the feminists would feel about that.LOL
Many people do not accept God because they think they are not worthy. Many think He is too demanding. Others think they could never live as He wants them to. So many reasons to stay away, from Him. But, guess what , if you are already in Him, what are you staying away from? It's just a figure of speech "away from God" "Not part of Him" "He's up there and I'm down here" "I can't reach Him" all semantics.
We share a place within Him right along with all else, with good ,evil, right, wrong,it doesn't matter what you can think of, it is all in Him. There are many roads in our journey, the choices are ours to make. If we see a beautiful clear road, and next to it a road filled with fire, both leading in the same direction, it is up to us which one we take. If we choose the fiery road we will get burned, but we are still going in the right direction.The good road would have been much easier, and better for us, yet it's in the same direction.
Life is fashioned after those two roads. Everyone is going in the same direction, believe it or not. the only difference is which road we choose along the way. We are always presented with a choice, but the direction remains the same. The choice will always have to do with good or evil.
They may not always be as clear as a good road versus a fiery one. They could both look almost exactly alike, but we have to learn how to tell the difference, so we can make the right choice.
Yet even when we make the wrong choice, we still are in Him and the only time that changes is when we are called to the next dimension.Creator chooses to allow us to go through these tests to ensure our growth. We are always in the process of being forgiven, except in one instance. Anyone who refuses to know God will eventually , end up outside of God when He decides that time has come.
Being outside of God reduces you to a souless entity that never finds satisfaction. For having been in Him all of your existence, your body cries out for it , but can never again have it. It is much more intense than a baby leaving the mothers womb, because the mother, and all her family before her, for eons, has been in Creator too, and that makes having to separate complete anguish. That is what hell is.
There are always new things to learn and we learn them forever, we are always evolving into the Creator's essence becoming more like Him according to the roads we choose. Our growth is in our own hands in that respect. We are co-creators with God because we are ever inventing
those things He has graced our minds with having the intelligence to invent. All benefit from each others works and they are all part of Him, for they are done within Him,and He too benefits in part.
The proper concept is to see yourself as Creator's "partner in good" being a traitor when you take the evil ones road and become a "partner in crime" If you realize your error you can regain your standing with Creator by admitting the act, and taking the right road next time. There is always this viability factor as long as we are within Him. That is why we must try to make right choices, which keeps us in right places. We do not want to wind up outside of Him.
