A Little Bit of Sunshine 3/4/2009 7:11:24 PM
Recently, I had to do groceries after a hard day's work, and feeling so tired and overwhelmed by the price increase of food items, I stood by a rack of daily products, wondering whether I would buy an item or not. A group of mothers and some dads were there too, probably with the same predicament as I was, and all of us with nary a smile in our faces. Then the customer service counter, that usually played music for shoppers, put on a piece "Kung Fu Fighting" which is a lively happy number for young people and easy to dance to. A young girl of four who was with her father started to dance and she caught everybody's attention for she had great moves and style! She did it with much gusto to everybody's enjoyment, obviously out of her own innate childish joy. We clapped at her performance as she hugged her daddy's pants shyly after that, and all of us were smiling thereafter with a tinge of a refreshed happy outlook that made me think, when days seem dark, God brings a little bit of sunshine.
