Wisdom in Romans 12:12 3/29/2009 6:59:14 AM
"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." (Romans 12:12) I have been at AD for more than a year, and during this brief time, I've had the precious opportunity to communicate with and develop friendships with my fellow authors, all lovers of the art of writing. Aside from friendly repartee, we have blended into a bond of care and compassion and have experienced each other's pain and loss through works of the pen. One cannot remain unaffected by the suffering of others, particularly during these times that try men's souls.
As my heart aches for the pain of my fellow authors, the thought occurred to me that my being here is not limited to writing kind words, but also to that of PRAYER. God has blessed my life with thousands of answered prayers, and intercession is one of the gifts He has so entrusted me with. Church conflicts in the past has made me turn cold towards active Christian service, but it seems when God gives your walking papers as ambassador to the gospel, He will never accept any resignation or vacation leave. So run away from it though I try, the assignment keeps coming after me. That is why even here at the Den, He works in me to pray for all of you that needs praying. When one prays, God's power is released and answers come. In Romans 12:12, I am joyful in hope that God will answer prayers for physical and inner healing, restore lost family relationships, renew wavering faith, release the "prisoners" of bitter pasts, and bless prosperity and wholeness to us all. God grant me patience in affliction and faithfulness in prayer.
"Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and unsearchable things you do not know." (Jeremiah 33:3)
