Years ago, after my youngest sister came home from a mission trip from Vietnam, she sent an antique King James Bible in the old English original translation as commissioned by the then Prince of England, James - "King of Great Britain, France, and Ireland", and the date was around 1800's, the font "Ruby 32mo" and "Cum Privilegio"

Today when I encounter statements regarding the varying translations of the Bible, the little antique Bible provides me with a genuine historical reference that cannot be disputed. The English used here is magnificently old style English and reflects the beauty of the language and the richness of thought and vocabulary. My other references such as the New International Version (NIV) and the or New
American Standard Version also make the comparison complete.
Like all other information, comments on the Bible must be verified, and I love doing that. I also use "Strong's Exhaustive concordance of the Bible" and "Strong's Greek & Hebrew Complete Dictionary of Bible Words."
The Bible needs no defense, it can stand on its own truth.
Many have tried to pollute its contents but it has survived for centuries as God's inerrant Word. Today when many doubtful things are said about the Bible, the antique King James Version I received helps to prove what is true and what is false.
