Got A Minute? 8/13/2009 4:24:14 AM
I'm at the halfway point in my summer vacation from classes. The first half flew by at times and dragged at others. I have gotten some work done. I've picked out the poems I think should go into my next book of poetry. However, I now have to decide what order to put them in. I know which one is going to open the book. The Ultimate Weapon will be the first one. My Professor told me that it should be because it's a very powerful piece.
Speaking of professors, my instructor for crw 3010 sent me the nices email telling me how much she enjoyed having me in her class. She said that she thought my Myth of Sha'Mung and the Great He and She. That it was a delight and well written. I printed it out for my scrap book.
My nurse is coming today. she'll take my temp, blood presure, and pulse. Ask me how I feel. Tell me to get more sleep and leave. And while she's here my mind will be wondering to what I need to write today. After she leaves I'll make lunch and get back to work.
I hate having to take my pain pills because they leave me fuzzy headed. In that candition I can't read, or write, but hopefully tomorrow I won't need to take it and my head will stay clear.
I'm scheduled for 2 undergrad classes and one grad class next semester. I'm taking; Principles and Problems of Literay Stuey, Poetry writing workshop and Classical Mythology. I'm waiting to hear from one of the professors about taking his grad class in writing poetry. If I get that I'll drop both undergrad classes and keep only the two grad courses.
I'm going to call the animal shelter and see if they have any old special needs cats for adoption. If they do I go check it out and see if one of them bonds with me. I found homes for all 4 kittens and the mother cat I was taking care of. They all went to families with kids. I'll get an older cat nobody else wants. Itsy Bitsy was 10 when I got her. She lived with me for almost 6 years. If I find a cat, I'll bring it home and love it and give it all the attention it needs until one of us dies.
I guess that's about it, for now. My pain pill is kicking in so my brain is kind of scranbled at the moment.
Thank you all for reading my little blog. It's one of the few things I really enjoy. Catch yo'all later.
