As easy as word processors make writing, I hate computers. As easy and convient as they make some things, I hate computers. The reason is that every now and then, I'm required to complete a task that involves some sort of computer procedure, and every now and then, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to complete the task. You would think that putting up a photo on a website in easy, correct? First the camera software came up, so I thought I was good to go, meaning 'okay, the computer knows what to do, I'm safe.' Oh, please kill me.
After uploading my picture to two different programs and not being able to resize the pic in either of them, after trying to resize it while it was on the webpage itself (sounds possible, right? Wrong.), and after sitting there pissed off, muttering curse words at something that just glows and hums back at me, I was finally able to figure out how to search for the file, then select it for upload, then upload it, then complete the upload, then go back to my webpage, and then position it on the page accordingly...
