Content and Work, Both New 6/2/2008 10:48:46 PM
My first day at Danny's convenience store was highly uneventful, all in all. A few interesting things did happen though, such as a guy walking in with ten pound boa constrictor wrapped around his body, stretching its neck out and sniffing in my general direction as I wrung up his... I forget, I was watching the snake. He could've been eighteen and bought a couple cases of beer and I wouldn't have caught on. Freakin' snake. Ugh.
Seven hundred words a day is a mark that I've been hitting every day now for about two weeks, and I've worked out a schedule that I believe will let me continue hitting that mark. The children of Cramburg continue on their journey, facing new challenges and mysteries all the time, and I follow along, a little lost, I'll admit, but otherwise satisfied.
