Labor Day '08, on which Branchwater received an unexpected boost 9/1/2008 3:18:46 PM
So once again Branchwater is being featured on readerviews.com and insidescooplive.com. The second site provided me with the podcast service so that whoever has a mind to can download the internet radio show interview of me done by Juanita Watson. The interview more than a half-hour in length, and it touches on some of my inspiration for Branchwater, the origins of some of the names and terms used in the book, as well as a few details about the upcoming epic Madeline City.
And what of Madeline City, you ask? If all goes according to plan, then the publication process will begin in roughly two months, making the book available by the end of March, though it's possible that it will come out as early as February. I've working on plans for its publicity and reviews, not the least of those plans includes the same services from Reader Views and Inside Scoop Live as have been provided for Branchwater.
For today at least, it's a simple day of relaxation. Working a bit on Children of Cramburg, sticking in a movie, doing some editing in Cramburg, playing a little Resident Evil, getting a bite to eat and then re-writing a little of Cramburg. The three day weekend is gradually winding down, and this Wednesday I begin my journalism class, eager to learn about a completely different sort of writing than I intend to invest my life in.
