Who travels this much? Honestly... 7/21/2008 11:59:32 PM
Just under two days will see my departure for Korea. I am not at all happy about leaving Arizona. I wasn't for the two days I spent in California last month, and I won't be for the ten I'm spending overseas, but the change of locale is all too often a necessary part of life - one of those that is never fully appriciated. But while I loathe leaving my home for the third time this year (and while I still have yet to recover from the trauma of my spring in Florida) I know that the experience will be once in a lifetime, in so many ways.
Some pros to flying to the far east (while heading west, go figure): the landscape promises to be breathtaking, I'll be able to grab a few asian keepsakes, the drinking age is 19, and during the fourteen hour flight there (not to mention the fourteen hour flight back) I'll have ample time to catch up on my reading, which has been painfully neglected as of late.
