So lately my level of creativity has been a might bit low. It's hard to think around here, what with all the loud roommates, lots of work, and the serious change of scenery. At the moment, I'm listening to the soundtrack of Final Fantasy VIII, in hopes that the gentle strains of the brilliant japanese composer Nobuo Uematsu will help trigger something in my mind. Other than my love of epic RPGs, that is.
With Madeline City finished and just waiting in the wings, all of my recent writings have been short stories, and the inspiration for those has began to run dry. My third novel may just be nearing its birth, though I confess to my own fear of starting a project as large as a novel while working amongst so many distractions.
Before I even have to deal with distractions though, I need to recieve my file from home. It contains my notes, musings, and general thoughts over the past year, all gathered and put down on paper. After reviewing that sheaf of info, then I think I can start telling the tale of the raven-faced girl.
