New developments have - well, developed - and as such new measures have been taken to deal. Thanks to the lousy state of economy that we find ourselves in, coupled with the lousy state of the industry itself, I'm struggling to maintain and adhere to a fixed budget. Publishing through P.O.D. publishers such as iUniverse is wonderfully accessible and even somewhat convenient, though the initial investment is nothing to shake a stick at.
Having taken all of the above into consideration, I have decided that Madeline City will not be published alone, but rather in a collection along with a short story, as well as my third novel. All three tales take place in the world of the goddess, and all are set at different points throughout the goddess' timeline.
Even though I'll be saving considerable money by publishing my second and third novel as part of a collection, it is still a long way off. In the worst case scenario, the finished product won't be seen until May 2009. A more hopeful and positive (and scrimping) outlook would tell us that March would bring my next book to all online sellers. Either way, I'm working as fast as I can, and you can be sure that I want this next one out just as much (and as quickly) as y'all. As always, thanks so much for the excitment and anticipation.
