Eighty pages. That's how many I'm having to rewrite in order to remove two main characters from Children of Cramburg. Pages seventy through one hundred fifty. What I thought was going to fit has turned out to be quite a different shape than I expected, and what I thought was going to sound good has turned flat in my mind.
Children of Cramburg is going to accompany Mantra Manor in the task of supporting and elaborating upon Madeline City. No longer am I considering Children of Cramburg to be strong enough to stand on its own. Instead I have decided that it is only suitable as a companion tale. With that in mind, I can set to the task of molding it into such.
But what a complicated task. It is ironic then how my financial situation gives me ample time to untangle this mess of words, and to rearrange them into something cohesive and complementing of my second great work of fiction.
