First things first: a little Florida news. Tomorrow I finally have a day off (two in a row actually) after six days of working. The job isn't so bad, a little boring, and one of my roommates is fed up with it here and is going home on Tuesday or Wednesday. Okay, now on to the important stuff.
I have received from home my file concerning all things raven-faced. Don't ask questions, you need only understand that I now have the means to start my third novel, which I will be doing on tomorrow (I'm so excited!). I'm still not totally sure how it's going to start out, but that's okay. After all, the first ten pages of Branchwater (in it's completed, published form) were never in any of the early drafts; rather, the first chapter, and part of the second, I wrote after nearly completing the book, and I just sort of tacked them on to the front.
That being said, I will begin this next story with confidence, trusting that I will know when and where to make the appropriate changes. For now, all I know is that Ariela is calling me, and that I'm going to visit her in the forest.
