Well howdy!
We had snow again yesterday. OMG.
It is officially spring...my favorite season. Blossoms, baby animals, sunshine, and all things wonderful. It also means warmer weather!!
I have no plans. None. I don't know what we will be doing or when or how. Funds are tight and there is a ton of work to be done on the compound and only two older people, (me and him) to do the work. I have a really bad back, my knees hurt, and I have no upper body strength. He is much stronger than I and has muscles, but his back going bad and his knees too hurt. How can we clean up and toss out old, decrepit, and junk when our bodies and not wanting to do what our minds want??
I wonder if we can call a family work day....would anyone help? This is something to consider. I beleive all family should help one another. I have had moments in my life where I needed help on a large scale and my family has come through. Really meaning my immediate family, daughters and spouses a like. I know some of my kids would help. So maybe that is the thing to do...Send out an SOS to our kids with the temptation of a fabulous lunch and beer!
It is hard watching our bodies decline (very slowly) and not have our mind do the same. We just can't do what we used to be able to as much as we want it to be different.
So I may put a flyer together and send it out and hope that some respond.
