So its Wednesday. I got TV now! Yay. I won't miss "So You Think You Can Dance!" Love that show!
Anyway... so thorns in my RV rug. Ouch that hurts! They come sneakly in on our shoes and with the multicolored rug the nake eye cannot see them. There could be a solution to this problem..like change sites!
I have been communicating with the Managers and they tell me they may have a spot open.."In The Paved Area!" I say yes, yes, yes. Meanwhile I am potty training my new dog Luka Spaghetti, yes that is his name! I got it from the book "Eat, Pray, Love". He is catching on fast, although we have to have puppy pads down. He seems to do better in the morning than the afternoon. He holds his urine and poopy all night! This surprises me because he can't seem to hold it during the day. Why not? It beats me.
I am cooking fine in our small kitchen. It doesn't take many steps for me to reach anything I need. I also have to do the dishes by hand. I don't mind since there is only two of us. I can't imagine living in 399 sq ft forever though!
My anxiety is doing well. Surprisingly. I have everything I need here really in this small space and the daily company of my new dog Luka. The town itself is very tiny so I can't get lost! I have not ventured out yet to drive myself to Hermiston, Oregon. It is all freeway and 18 miles away. I want to ride this route a few more times to familiarize myself to the road and what to expect. I find that if I can compartmentalize my trip I quell the anxiety. For example, I might say to myself I can make it to the grove of trees. Once there I will then say, I can make it to the rest area 5 miles ahead. Then I would say I only have 7 miles left and that is the same as driving to Sccapoose (which is a city 7 miles from St Helens). This technique doesn't give me an expection of a long drive, but cuts it up into short exerts to accomplish. Yes it is a trick of the mind, but it works.
So...the day came when we could move our Large small trailer...
