My folks always said, “If it doesn’t kill you it can only make you stronger. I have not been posting here very much lately. If you are asking what that has to do with opening statement I’ll tell. I have been retaining fluid, probably a problem because I only have one kidney and it is not working and my liver has decided to join in on the fun.
The other night I decided to check my site out for a few minutes and there were several reviews of some of my poems which had been posted long ago. I checked them out. They spoke of faith and trust in God and know he is my savior. At that time my own words came back to bite me. Maybe it was more like a kiss. It gave me another chance to reflect upon the wonderful friends I have through AD. Thank you and God bless you all.
Today I went to the hospital as an outpatient and the stuck a needle into my stomach and removed seven and half pounds of fluid. No wonder I was hurting.
Somehow I feel some of you have been praying for me and I am praying for you. May God hold you in his hands, keep you safe and always under the umbrella of his love.
