What a Winter! 2/27/2010 6:36:07 AM
It is snowing again in Maryland. It comes slowly and doesn't threaten more than a show Hi Everybody.
I must apologize that my writing has been neglected for the past few months. This has been one whale of a winter.
I started Peritoneal dialisis last October. This is time consuming.
Peritoneal dialisis does the work my kidneys are no longer able to keep up with. Ann has suffered a nervous breakdown. She has been under the pressure of trying care of me what with a heart attack and other problems for the past twenty-five years and now this.
Tables have turned. Now I am looking after her. However I consider this a blessing. This is what I want to be doing.
Life has its up's and downs. There will be depressions as well as high points but it matters how you respond to them that makes the difference.
One can easily consider the burden as an unfair event or one can accept the challenge and feel better about himself and life as a whole by simply doing what needs to be doing.
You know what? The latter is the one that makes one feel better about himself and life in general.
