Oh my God did I forget Authors Den existed?
Nay I did not.
I have been uber busy and spending a lot of time driving to Portland from Boardman. Many things happening this summer that is taking Frank and I back home.
I have been feeling good and so in love. Frank and I are happy and thriving.
I don't do so well in the eastern Oregon heat. It has been in the upper nineties for a long time. I tend to get what I call heat headaches! My terminology for want of a better clinical explanation. I tend to get anxious when I have these horrible headaches because I jump to the worst conclusion for having them. Must be a tumor!! That is where my head goes. Or a Stroke. Good grief.
So I spend hours trying to quell the pain and my anxiety. I end up having a useless day of nothing but bad thoughts and hating the fact that I get these monstrous headaches. When the headache finally goes away I have no idea what helped that happen. Usually I try many treatments to alleviate the pain. For example, I will take Ibuprophin (sp?), Tylenol, a hot shower, put my feet in cool water, pinch my toe pads, sleep, massage with a tennis ball or my Franks hands, etc. You get the picture, LOL!! So I don't know what to do first when I get another headache. Frankly it is just too much and I lament about why I even have to get a headache.
Rule number one: No booze while in headache mode. It doesn't work.
Rule number two: No wearing glasses
Rule number three: Close all curtains
Rule number four: Curse the gods!
Anyway, I'm back and I don't have a headache today! So time for my favorite drink...Brandy Separator!
