My honeymoon was adorned by God's grace... I just got back from my honeymoon (for those of you who have not read "Healing Grace" here, that will explain all!) and it was so marked by God's special touches. The bells in the background that pealed from the church across the road and could be heard in our bedroom pealed out the very hymn that I had processed out of the church upon my wedding day last Saturday. As I sat romantically filling out at entry into the guest book of the historic Bed and Breakfast, I suddenly heard Beethoven's ode as put to the hymn so adored by many.
Then again, today, we made a special stop home to a favorite place of mine only to be greeted overhead through the music with the very lyrical ode that my husband used to sing to me when he first stated his love to me. It took me aback, and I could suddenly do no more, but it was not the singer overhead that I heard. It was my husband's statements and his fresh declarations that I knew.
What a lovely trip it was, but even more so as it was so touched by the very special graces of God.
I was inspired to do more as a writer, and I was inspired to do more as a wife. Upon arriving home, I started my new tasks right away. Let God be my driving source.
