It is Christ Jesus that gives the victory, and only in Him have I been set free! Amen! I had the great joy of talking with my aunt this week who is planning on coming to my booksigning today in Tomball. She shared with me some inside info that thrilled me to death being as it related to the first chapter of IMPRINTS.
There is a running thread in my family that hit me hard years ago. It is featured in this chapter, but mostly from the victory side. My aunt related various members of my family who are struggling and coping with that same debilitating disease. In fact, it seems that there's been more victory in my family in the extended side than I had been aware. I am thrilled. And all of it is going to the credit toward love of God in Christ Jesus. Amen!
My aunt is coming to pick up copies for family members today. I can hardly wait til all these cousins of mine read IMPRINTS. Of course, that's only the first chapter. Disease runs in families. And so can liberty once the core of encouragement lets out. Denial is no longer the game.
Other topics in the book are attitude adjustments: expectations, judgments, simsplicity, renewal, control and yielding up thereof..., and most of all, how compassion wins over all. It is Christ Jesus that gives the victory, and only in Him have I been set free! Amen!
