Giving it away again 7/9/2008 8:59:04 AM
The forces are moving again - all of them I'm pleased to see and say that I haven't gone dry. It seems that my pen (All my close reader-fans know that I write by longhand.) has been flowing again after a long rest. Suddenly, themes have been jumping into my head into the middle of the night, staying there, and it's all I can do to not get out of bed and start writing right then and there. But the theme stays, and I start adding to it in my half dreaming state. Ahhhh, I love that state when my creative forces are so vivid.
I'm getting more active on my piano again, too. I've been working on more new classical pieces. And now I believe I've got an outlet for it other than through my students. It amazes me to know how much I need that audience now, especially when I remember back to my twenties. I was petrified then of anyone, ANYONE other than my husband, hearing me play. And it took lots of coaching from my husband for me to allow Him to listen to me. My goodness, the world has changed. Now, I want to share the joy of the music. I want to give it away to others.
Anyone out there near Tomball need a classical pianist?
