Esa's Grandpa Scott sent an email today.  Her treatment's effects are still making her feel terrible, but the bottom line is an answer to much, much prayer by many wonderful people who love babies like her.  Cancer free!  Such beautiful words!  Thank you, dear Lord!

Esa has a new little cousin, a tiny new baby boy named Caeden Andrew.
Scott wrote about Esa:

I wanted to update you all on Esa's progress.  She is now in the midst of her last week of chemotherapy for which we are very grateful.  She received her last eye injection yesterday after her eye exam.  The bottom line is that they feel she is cancer free in her eyes now.  Praise the Lord.  That little stubborn seed that is floating in her vitreous humor seems to be dead, looking completely calcified, but they gave her another injection just to be sure.  Please pray for her complete recovery from this last week of treatments - she is really struggling with it and pray that her eye will return to normal size after this third injection.  It took eight weeks to get back to normal after the last one. So she is almost done but the recovery is tough on her and her parents.  Now we can be praying the the cancer stays away - she will be examined every three weeks for a long while.  Obviously our worst fears from many months ago did not materialize in that she did not have to lose either or both of her eyes.  She should have very good vision in her right eye and some vision in her left eye.  She will undergo therapy to straighten the eyes after some time.
With regards to my new grandson - he and his mommy are doing very well.

Esa's Daddy's brother and his wife are the proud parents of the new baby.  We are happy they have the joy of a new little boy in their home.
