Our grandson Jason will have bone marrow aspiration on the 29th.  His big brother may be able to meet them in Dayton for that day.  Michael lives and works in FLA, but will be coming for a week or so around that date.
Jason has been doing very well, but since the leukemia he has is chronic, they have to consider a bone marrow transplant.  It's a risky procedure, but
could also bring about a cure.  His sister, Chelsey, is a perfect match.
Please pray for wisdom for Cindy and Mike as they meet with the doctors and consider this.
On a good note, the Make-a-Wish Foundation people are meeting with them next week to discuss Jason's gift from them.  What will he choose?  They've talked about a shopping spree or a family trip.  Cindy likes the idea of a trip more, since it would be a family memory, but it's Jason's choice.

Below is Blair's report I just received on Esa, our great-niece. 

esa is all clear for tomorrow's eua. tomorrow is the biggest day so far in esa's journey with cancer. she has been off of chemo for almost 4 months, so anything could be happening right now in her eyes. please pray for her, pray that we get great news of a stable report. today was hectic for us. we were at saint jude alot longer than we had planned on, but we ended up getting to everything that we needed to do. we heard more bad news today about another retinoblastoma patient that we know. he needs to have radiation. his name is marcellas kirk. he is alittle older than esa, and we both started around the same time last year. so please pray for him and his mom to get through the next five weeks of radiation. whenever i hear of the situations, i start to panic, and worry about what we might hear about esa. right now we are concerned with old tumors coming back to life, and new tumors, and seeds forming and growing. i was talking to another dad today, and he said that it never gets better. these eye exams always make you lose your mind. so please pray for us, and all the other families tomorrow getting eua's. pray that we all get great news for Christmas, and that the Holy Spirit will fill the hospital with wisdom, and healing.
