Esa Neiswender will be one of the children featured on a tv special about St. Jude's Hospital that is being filmed by a Hollywood Director. Don't forget Esa in your prayers. Her chemo is over, but she is still at high risk for more cancer.

i havent written in a while because nothing has been happening medically with teresa. she is doing really good. lately though, she is always mad when she hears it's nap time or night, night time. so she claps her hands together one time really hard, and says aaaaoooo!!! she doesnt want to miss any playing. her eye is almost back to normal from the last injection. still a little bit swollen, and red. the light is still bothering it alittle bit when she first wakes up in the morning, and after nap time. it takes about 1 hour till she can open it all the way without it watering. she is walking all by herself, she goes from room to room, and she moves her arms like she is running, and she thinks she is so funny when she does that. she starts laughing at herself. she always comes back to me, to hold her hand though, she knows how to keep daddy from crying, cause she is growing up too fast. i tell her that daddy needs to hold her hand or i will be sad, and she comes and drags me around the house. but i am glad that she is walking around like it's nothing now. on friday we go into saint jude for filming. they are bringing in a hollywood director to do the tv special, and they want esa and us to be in it. they are going to be interviewing us, and getting our story, and following esa around. it's the same director who wanted esa to be in all the shots after he saw her last tuesday. so that will be fun. he was a really nice guy. we are getting really anxious about her next couple of exams. every eua for the next year and a half could be the one where they say she needs radiation, or enucleation. so we are terrified when we think that we might be heading down that path. please pray that her eyes will stay stable. please, also pray for our friends the suttles. eleanor is a girl a little bit older than esa, and she was told that she needs radiation. so please pray for meredith and clayton with the decisions they need to make about what kind of radiation is safest and best for their little girl. it is scary for them, but they say that they have peace. caringbridge.org/visit/eleanorsuttle.
