her Daddy's report is sobering this week is very, very busy for us. we have no time to just sit and relax. it seems like every minute of my day is filled with something to do, that needs to be done. i think i am over doing it alittle. anyway. our saint jude schedule is full this week. tomorrow we go in at 7:45 am, first thing is nuclear medicine. they put radiation into her blood stream and check the levels at one hour, then two hours, then three hours, to make sure that her body can still handle poison. if she has lost the capacity to filter out toxins then she is in bad shape. so that is first thing, then she has her blood count checked, and then she has her doctor visit to be cleared for the surgery on wed. wed, is going to be very stressful. it will be her eye exam, and the ultrasound of the orbits, to make sure that the cancer hasnt spread from her eyes into her bone around the eyes. it will be a long morning, and probably really tense because this will be her first eye surgery after the chemo. i've been feeling bad lately, because when i tell people that she is done with chemo, they get really excited for her, but then i have to tell them that just because she is done with chemo doesnt mean that we are done. she will battle with new tumors till she is 5. now that chemo is over there is nothing stopping new tumors, or old ones reactivating. it is even more scary for us now, than it was during chemo. the only thing left is radiation or remove her eyes. and both of those things are horrible. so we pray that her eyes will stay stable, and that our awesome doctors can control anything that appears in her beautiful eyes. she is doing wonderfully. as lively and happy as ever. so tonight is a good night for us.
