God's GOOD News-- Elizabeth is still fighting after a very stable night. Actually I think the most stable night we have had since we have been in ICU. We had alot of our family and St. Jude family here praying all night and Elizabeth's bp and heart rate remained great and her fevers are SO much better, only needed Tylenol once in 12 hours. She got two doses of her miracle drug and another this morning. Voriconazole is the best drug to treat this fungal but the best treatment is the body's immune system. Elizabeth's WBC was 2oo this morning, they have been giving her GCSF to try and boost the cells but so far it is not working. SO.. the plan is to give her a boost of DJ's cells that were frozen from tansplant and hope that they will boost her immune system and also help kill the PTLD that could be left. Her bilirubin was 2.4 today and her liver enzymes are almost normal!!! Praise God. The plan last week was to give another cycle of chemo today but we will not do that. Optomology looked at her eyes yesterday morning and saw Aspergillous in them, they will track her twice a day and this morning they saw no change which is good. Her kidneys are holding their own but need prayers to stay strong through this.
Sleeping Beauty is still resting but is crying during appropriate times. She has not opened her eyes. I believe when she feels better she will wake up. We will be patient.
So, today around 3:00 she will get the boost of cells. Pray they do their job, every job they can do. Thank you, Daddy. We are COMPLETELY BELIEVING GOD WILL HEAL HER ON EARTH.
