Little Elizabeth Dunford is suffering, along with her family who love her so much. From Elizabeth's Mommy; it's obvious that she and her husband are being stressed beyond belief. Her update:
Day 295
UPDATE 12:30 The U/S showed lots of fluid with something in it so they are going to put a needle in her belly and drain some, they will be able to test it and also hopefully relieve some pressure. Her kidneys are a big concern right now. We just put a catheter in her to measure all her urine accurately and we are going to try some other drugs, the Lasix isnt working anymore. The U/S didn't show her kidneys to be any worse so hopefully relieving some pressure might help her pee. The good news for today is the U/S showed her liver to look much better!!! So, we think the Rituximab is definitely working but just taking a toll on her little body. Her seizure was 36 hours after the first dose of Rituximab and they are thinking as the drug is killing the tumor cells its causing some inflamation. So, we are NOT going to give her DJs cells today, as she does not need any more stress on her body right now. I will keep you all updated as we desperately need your prayers. Thank you
PRAYERS PRAYERS AND MORE PRAYERS for our baby today. DJ and I have been up all night with Elizabeth suffering. They believe she has some kind of infection in her belly. Her belly is the largest I have ever seen. It is so big I can't even stand to look at it. We are trying to control the pain but not doing a very good job just yet. My poor baby. They have canceled the MRI and LP because she is so sick. They are still deciding whether we will do the boost or not. I know Elizabeth can fight this, please pray her pain is eased very soon, she has suffered more than anyone should ever have to and it is breaking our hearts. Pray it be God's will that she be healed here on Earth. Hurry Jesus!!!! Keep Praying Keep Believing Love, Michelle
