Depression...

Why Am I Discouraged?

Depression is one of the most common ailments in the world today. One of the best antedotes that I've found is discovered in Psalm 42:5 which reads; Why am I discouraged? Why so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again--my Savior and my God!

Think about that! If we would only take a few moments to meditate on God's goodness, mercy and grace towards His people, we will find room to triumph instead of tear. So, whenever circumstances seem overwhelming, try to focus on God's ability to help your situation instead of focusing on your inability to help yourself.
