Encouraging thoughts about how our life song should sing for others and shine for Jesus! And a special thank you to authors den readers! Wow! I finally crossed the 100 mile marker in reviews. A special thanks to all of you that love to read about Jesus, the author, protector and finisher of our faith!
I read back over some of your encouraging words tonight and I have to tell you that my heart soared! Not because of anything that I have done, but because of what God has accomplished through me.
You see, I know that I am only a tool, an instrument, if you will, clay in the potter's hand to be used to draw others hearts closer to Him through the written word. Thank you for reading and more importantly for responding to the words you've read that have ministered specifically to your heart.
I was invited to speak to a local congregation on Sunday and the presentation that God gave me was complete with music entitled 'Life Song' by Casting Crowns... a video clip of pictures; workers on the mission field and a couple local ministry projects. The final clips were of my son, his oldest daughter and my husband.
As these pictures rolled across the screen and God further prepared my heart to share my testimony, I realized that while I certainly do want my life song to sing to my family,even more importantly, I want my life song to shine for Jesus. Don't you?
