The purpose of this blog has been to provide updates on some of the cases I reported in my book (Fighting CPS: Guilty Until Proven Innocent of Child Protective Services Charges ISBN 9-780-9800061-6-2) that had not been resolved when the book went to press, and to report other cases where CPS is not working up to par. I’d also like to hear about cases in which Child Protective Services did the right thing so those cases can serve as examples of what should be done. This is edited text from an email conversation over several months. Quite a situation these grandparents have been going through. Because the case is still in “active”, they have asked me not to reveal their names. So GMa and GPa will do with G1 for their granddaughter and B1 for their grandson.
March 2018: GMa: I read the review of your book "Fighting cps" and that's what we've been doing for a very long time. I'm desperate and hopeless right now so I'm reaching out to anyone. Please pray for me and husband. We've raised our two grandkids since birth. G1 is 14 and B1 is 9. Please pray with us that CPS will not remove our grandkids and that they will once and for all leave us alone. It's a nightmare that we can't wake up from. I appreciate your prayers. Thank you!
GMa: I apologize for just now getting back with you. I have severe fibromyalgia and it messes with my brain, not to mention the grandkids have really done a number on the few brain cells I have left.
March 8th my husband (who's been representing us as our attorney and he is not an attorney but did an excellent job) and I went to court and after about a year the case was dismissed. Praise the Lord!
The stress that CPS puts a family through is unreal. Their goal is to destroy family unity. I don't mind you sharing our story, I think it's great getting the word out about how truly corrupt CPS is.

Deborah K. Frontiera: I'm glad to hear from you and thanks for letting me use your story.
Nov 12th: GMa: Well, I wanted to let you know that CPS is taking us to court again this Thursday, November 15th, 2018. The previous one, last year, we couldn't afford an attorney and by the grace of God, we won. GPa is not an attorney and we didn't know how to defend ourselves against lies; we just didn't know what we were going to be accused of until the last minute which didn't give us time to defend ourselves. Here we go, again, I don't know why they are doing this to us. Our grandkids are considered marketable and I keep thinking that someone is willing to pay a lot of money for them. It's scary to think that so many innocent families are torn apart by this corrupt system and nothing can be done about it.
A few days later: GMa: We haven't had our grandkids removed yet bur it's been an ongoing battle for a few years. After one case has been dismissed, they wait for a few months and come back at us. They are so corrupt that they will do anything to sell our grandkids. It puts such a strain on a family, and they know it. GPa and I haven't recovered from last year, health wise, and here they are again. We aren't even able to know what we'll be going to court for until the last minute. We don't really know what we're charged with. CPS has a completely different set of rules that can change, in their favor, at any given moment. The lies they tell, under oath, have been unbelievable. It's hard to prove you're innocent when you don't have a clue what it is you're trying to defend yourself against until you go before the judge.
GMa: I can't stop crying. I don't know who to trust anymore. My neighbors, who have moved, we're the ones who filed the report against us. He previously worked for CPS and she works for APS. (Adult Protective Services) He had mentioned to me that CPS was getting their paperwork in order to come back at us to take the grandkids from us. He told me this about 3 or 4 weeks ago, and I told my husband. We didn't know why he said that.
GMa: Again, for the 4th time, it was dismissed. We saw the snide look on the supervisor's face of anger and disappointment. We know that had to be the supervisor from the visit a few years ago when we had a late-night visit from her. Even though it's been dismissed by the judge they will be to our house, not inside, this Monday so that they can have peace of mind that our grandchildren are properly cared for. Otherwise, like the judge said, they will most likely show up again within a month with the same disgruntled neighbors’ complaint. We aren't the kind of people who go door to door trying to find out how each neighbor would like for us to live our life so that we are pleasing them. We are not bad or unfriendly people. We have always been more than ready to help anyone, but we are not so eager to assist anyone around this neighborhood. They act like they're still in junior high or high school. We've only lived here for 10 years and I have to admit that I felt safer with the drive by shootings than here where they are so fake, and their lies that put our grandchildren in danger of being placed in CPS system.
DF: While I was glad to hear their case was, once again, dismissed, why should these grandparents have had to go through this in the first place? DF
