Shuffling off to Buffalo

long time no updates... I've been busy playing on my other blog . mindsay.com
In 5 days I will be shuffling off to Buffalo for 6 LONG weeks. Been busy writing in my other blog submitting and waiting.... I'm sure everyone knows what that is like.
Sun Rising Books accepted two of my poems for inclusion in 2 different anthologies. The first, Cosmic Brownies, just arrived a few days ago - plenty of time to pack it and show it off to my family :D.
The other anthology, Whispers of Inspiration, is due at later this summer. Two publications in one summer. If I didn't know better someone may think I was serious about writing ;).
In other news, I haven't written anything with any passion for a while. Back in February my brother-in-law had to move in with us. Dumbass got himself in trouble with the law, lost his job, AND got kicked out of his apartment. AHHH... but he will be out of my house before I head back East. It is so nice to see the light at the end of that tunnel. The way he sits on his butt, I was beginning to think we'd never rid ourselves of the fool.
So I'm hoping to get a nice breather for the six weeks I am away and when I come home, I will have some time to get the girls settled back into normalcy. Something we haven't had for a long time. And once school begins again, I should be able to find some insprition to WRITE!
