Complaint department

The worst thing about doing laundry is putting it away. As a consequence, I always have 4 or 5 loads of wash folded and placed in baskets. Hubby was always complaining he couldn't find clean clothes, and I'd tell him to check the basket.
Well over the weekend, out in our garage - in 110 degree heat, he made me a nice laundry cart. So I spent my day putting away clothes, wheeling baskets from room to room. It is a very nice cart, too, made of redwood, to go with our southwest decor. He wouldn't buy a wire mesh cart because it didn't go. Though he did admit the redwood cost the same with a lot more work involved. (Hubby enjoys doing woodwork though).
The project gave him a chance to release his creative juices and made putting away the laundry a lot easier for me. I guess he didn't like the response, "You can put away your own laundry," whenever he lodged a complaint.
