Santa

I feel so awful. We went to see Santa last night at the Avondale tree lighting. We were in line for over an hour. When we had about 20 minutes left to wait, the little one kept saying, "pee-pee on the potty". My dad wasn't in line, but we couldn't find him, so I asked if she could wait til after we saw Santa. She got a huge smile on her face and nodded yes. My mom said, "I hope she doesn't pee on Santa's lap". Well she didn't. We saw Santa, and Mrs. Claus even got the little one to take her fingers out of her mouth for the picture. It's a cute picture both girls have cute smiles. Afterwards I forgot about the potty and so did the little one. We drove home and were going through the little stockings the girls got as a gift. After about 15 minutes, the little one started to splash in the puddle she was standing in on the kitchen floor. If only Mommy got her on the potty when we got in the door... I feel so bad. She did so well in line, no fussing and besides the one incident of spitting out her water instead of drinking it, she listened and waited patiently. We get all the way home and then have an accident.
I'm glad she didn't pee on Mrs. Claus' lap though. Both my girls are getting way too big. The little one is being potty trained, and my older one, Go-Go, told Santa, "Grandpa wants a twin beach for Christmas". (type of airplane Grandpa told her he wanted) Afterwards she told us she didn't tell Santa what she wanted, because she knows Santa will bring something she likes, and she doesn't care what it is. I thought it was so sweet she told Santa what someone else wanted. My little girls need to stop growing up so fast.
