Go-Go went to the first day of Kindergarten.
My big girl got a green light and a sticker for being a good listener, today. She one-upped both her parents. Her Mom stayed up half the night, the night before her first day of Kindergarten, trying to tie her shoe. Silly me thought I was going to fail on the first day if I couldn't tie my own shoe. ( I did it though!). Go-Go went right to bed last night with very little fuss and it appeared very little anxiety.
Then there is her Dad, the boy who was kicked out of his Kindergarten class for playing in the sandbox and getting sand on the carpet. Yes the teacher refused to let him back in the school; he had to transfer to a different one. In his own defense, he says, "Why did they put a sandbox in the classroom if the teacher didn't want her new carpet dirty?" Go-Go said her first day was pretty boring because they went over all the rules. :) But unlike her father, she listened to them. By the way, hubby still thinks out of the box.
