Kids grow up too fast. Go-Go has only one month left in kindergarten. When the new school year starts, both she and the Little One will be going. On top of all this, Go-Go has her first loose tooth.
We took the girls to McD's for lunch today. The Little One is getting to be a handful. She did great at first, till Go-Go made a new friend. Then Go-Go went off to play with her and my Little One didn't know what to do. How did she solve this problem? Throw a tantrum of course.
Something I wasn't quite sure on. Because when we first got there I kept telling Go-Go to watch her sister. She didn't, but the Little One was going through the play equipment and having a ball on her own. Then Dad showed up with the food. The minute Go-Go went to eat, the Little One acted as if she couldn't get through the play equipment and thus started her tantrum. We couldn't get her calmed down enough to eat. The only thing that stopped her crying was going back into the play area, but half way in she'd start to scream, "Where's Go-Go!" all over again.
Go-Go was pretty good about it, though. She stopped eating 4 times to go in and get her sister. Mom and Dad could only take so much, when the Little One was retrieved for the 4th time we left, resulting in more screaming.
Go-Go just said good-bye to her friend. When we got in the car commented, "I still remember what she looks like even though I'll probably never see her again."
