Go-Go has gotten the ANTIQUE shopping bug. Yesterday Dad and Go-Go went antiquing. Go-Go came home with lots of old horses. This morning she HAD to bring the bronze one to church. In RE she traced the horse on a piece of paper and put star stamps all over the paper. Then for the children's welcome in our sevice, the minister showed the congregation the picture she gave to him. He said "Thank You". And Go-Go so politely said, "You're welcome." It was so cute and after church, she went around and showed the bronze horse to at least half the congregation, telling them how she tranced the horse to make the picture, and how daddy was going to buy her more "old" horses.
Well right now, she, dad, and Nonni, are out shopping. Hopefully steering clear of the antique shops. IMO, Dad spent enough money yesterday. The Little One is nestled in front of the TV, and I have a quiet afternoon.
The other surprise, Go-Go cleaned her room last night before she went to sleep. When I went in there this morning I could actually reach her dresser without side stepping toys. And the Little One had a birthday cookie waiting for her in the church's fridge. We told them when her birthday was, mostly because it landed on a Sunday, but we didn't get there that day because we were babysitting our niece. We did take her to church the one Sunday we babysat her. Don't know why we skipped this time, though I was still recouping from the pre-k registration ordeal of the previous day. I don't miss the opportunity to tell people OVER 5 HOURS!
I'm glad she got in though she needs the socialization. We heard her complaining in church this morning, and after the service the RE teacher said it was because they were making her share. She also said, after Go-Go gave her a few stickers without complaining the Little One followed suit, so there is some hope. :D
