Mommy Moment

The past few weeks have been very hectic around here, but yesterday I was able to sit back and relax. It wasn't of my own fruition.
Yesterday hubby and I decided to attack the girls rooms. We picked up their toys, made Go-Go do her room, then Mom vacuumed, and Dad rearranged the furniture. In the middle of all the melee, I sat down for a breather, and the little one came and sat on my lap. Thus I was incapacinated for over 2 hours. (Mom can't pick up sleeping kids; they're too heavy) However, there is nothing sweeter than a sleeping child. It makes you realize why you got into this profession in the first place.
Meanwhile, Go-Go, our big girl, wants to learn to ride her bike without training wheels. She's been riding her bike everyday to school since winter break ended, and she is getting very confident on it. Of course once she gets the hang of two wheels, Mom's really going to be left in the dust.
Of course now Go-Go is throwing a tantrum because Mom and Dad won't let her have juice out of a wine glass. One night when we had wine for dinner, we let her have her juice out of a wine glass. Now, she's always requesting one. We both just told her no, and now she's having a fit. Goes to prove, you have to keep those "Mommy Moments" in mind for the inevitable "Meltdown Moments".
