Fianally...Work! 5/1/2006 2:32:04 PM
Freelancing is a great way to add extra income as a writer. I've spent most of the day writing. That's because I finally got another assignment and it's a big one! So, after a little prodding from my husband Steve, I started writing the articles so I would be right at the deadline trying to finish them! I have a bad habit of putting off the things I need to do!
My second book is started, I know what the plot points are, and I know my characters. I just have to make myself sit down and work on it. I want it to come out in early 2007 so it will be available when I have a book signing on a Carnival Cruise Ship in the middle of the sea!
That's coming up in February, and I'm already excited about it. About 25 authors and spouses are going on this cruise and about 3000 other people who will have one day at sea with nothing to do but come to our book signing! Hurray, I love promoting and talking to people, so I know I'll have fun.
Well, enough for today, I would like to finsih four more articles before prime time tonight. My favorite show "24" is on tonight and it's getting close to the end of the season so things are really heating up for Jfack Bauer.
