Still busy but took time to go visit Grandma Wanda and enjoy fireworks! Here is a recap on our week. We are still working on getting the downstairs ready for the girls. Katlin's room is almost finished. All we have to do is put up the fabric ceiling.
Still working on room dividers. We did get the vertical blinds up to separate the two girls rooms. It looks really nice! McKenzie was impressed with what all we had been able to do while she was at Camp Warren. Thanks to all the generous people who have made it possible for all the kids to participate in summer camps. They have enjoyed them so much and I think this summer has been filled with happy memories and happy feelings! They have been able to swim, go to camp, have cook outs and virtually live and play like normal kids! That is such a blessing!
This week, Hunter will be at basketball camp with Pastor Wayne Dunning. Every morning for four days. The two oldest girls will be attending Millikin's volley ball camp for two whole days. Lots of running for Grandma but they will enjoy it so much.
Happy to report that Grandma Wanda is still doing pretty well considering she will be 92 this month. She has bad spells but she gets through them. We watched the Pilot Knob fireworks from the driveway of mom's house. Enjoyed them and was really awesome sounds! I know, fireworks are fireworks, but these booms were awesome echoing through the mountains surrounding the small valley mom lives in! I have never heard anything like it! Dogs were having a nervous breakdown but they survived too!
Mom is coming to Decatur at the end of the month to help celebrate our family reunion. She will be here over her birthday. 92 years young. I sure hope she still feels well enough to come up and visit us!
This week we will be working on getting more room dividers made for the girls, getting their ceilings done and taking some pictures to show what all we have done. Still busy, but happy to be able to see the smiles on their faces.
