Busy day for a freelancer.

The joys and sorrows of being a freelance, independent worker.
I don't hate Mondays anymore. I've been retired for a year (yes it was early!) Since then I have had various part time jobs, but always working from home. Right now I'm working on my biggest freelance project I've ever had, and I still enjoy working in my PJ's for half the day if I want to. Going down to the tanning salon when I want, and enjoying time with my grandkids.

When I took my walk yesterday, I checked on the bunny nest I discovered when the babies were only hours old. The mother has taken them to a safer spot than three feet off of a busy sidewalk on a busy street. I think there were four of them, I didn't actually touch them or move them as I didn't want the mother to abandon them. They were so cute and I enjoyed watching them grow and develop practically right in front of my eyes.

What wonders nature has for us, if we take the time to stop and look around us. Listen to the wind, the birds chirping, the sounds of children playing down the street. Ah, it's the sweet sounds of summer and I love it!
