Pool Tournament, Granddaughters Birthday party 5/19/2006 7:18:25 AM
It's going to be a busy weekend. Hello friends,
Yes, this weekend is going to be really busy! We start our 8-ball tournament tomorrow, we have birthday party for two granddaughters on Sunday and I have a big freelance assignment due on Monday!
Finally we are starting to see some sunshine here in Central Illinois. I know the East Coast has been battered and my prayers are with everyone there. We have lots of gloomy days and rain, but nothing like the flooding there.
Did I say I love freelancing? I do, most of the time. I have a big assignment due Monday, and I know that when I turn it in, she will have another big assignment ready for me. I'm happy about that, I get to go to grandchildren's school activities, set my own hours, go tan in the middle of the day, or get up and walk the dog when I want to. My husband and I have been spending time together and find we can live together in relative peace in harmony even if we are both home all the time. We have been married for 13 years, and he is home trying to recover from rotator cuff surgery. He's not doing well, and the doctor is questioning full recovery at this point. One year from retirement from teamsters. It is a work related injury though.
I'll be adding more work, but probably not till next week. And I am hoping to get a newsletter out to those who have signed up. Small list but hey! I will work with small for now. It will be a newsy, opefully fun filled and informative with links that will take you to special places on the web.
