Have you filled your car up lately? 5/3/2006 3:25:51 PM
High gas prices, how high will it go? We filled the car up yesterday, at 2.77 a gallon. My husband thought we would just put enough in to get by and hope prices go down. I thought we should just fill up because it's only going to get worse! $40 later we drove out with a full tank.
You know we leave the car in the garage, and combine errands to avoid extra trips. We do have to go out of town for a birthday party this Sunday, but it's for a grandson, can't miss that!
We'll probably do less traveling, either by air or by car. We are going on a cruise in February, that will be our vacation. We will drive to our start destination. I hate flying, and really won't fly in the winter time! I know, I know, I'm a big baby, but I did fly over the ocean twice in one year, doesn't that count for something? Tehe.
I kinda have mixed feelings about the jury giving Moussaui life instead of death. First I don't think we should honor his request to be a martyr, but on the other hand, I am human enough to want someone to pay. I think he should be kept in isolation, and absolutely no contact with anyone from the outside. We don't need him to be a rallying cry for the terrorists. Ok, I'm done now.
I'm working on a big freelance assignment, so I better get back to work. Write on friends!
