Wow! Another week is here! 6/20/2006 11:02:21 AM
Why does time seem to go so fast? I just about went crazy for three days that we were in Missouri because I didn't have web access. I tried and the AOL disc that I took with paid minutes didn't work. I couldn't get on with a free NetZero CD, and so I was stuck!
I did enjoy my visit with my wonderful MIL. She is a great encourager and prayer warrior and I love her to pieces. So, no internet, I sat and relaxed, visited, took a drive through the beautiful Missouri countryside, and just rested. It was hard for me to be without online access, but I loved the feeling of having nothing to do!
I did some garage sales and flea markets, looking for items to sell at my eBay store, had a great time.
My mother in law asked me how much of my second book I had written, and I had to tell her only one page! And I got to read a Writers Digest magazine all the way through! We worked a jigsaw puzzle.
When I came back I felt relaxed and refreshed. I couldn't go to sleep that night until I had written the first chapter of my second book. I guess I was energized because I sold 21 book in four days. These are books I had of my own and was thrilled! Time to order a few more now! Got me all pumped up, and my first chapter is not bad. My husband says it reaches out and grabs the reader and makes him want to know what else is going to happen! High praise from him!
Well, I have the grandkids today so I will stop for now. I missed all of my friends and missed my e-mail!
