First day of vacation in Las Vegas.
We got here early, the airport suggested 2 1/2 hours and have spent most of the time just waiting. We are waiting on boarding right now. I am so pleased to be able to hook up via wifi at the airport. I already know that our hotel has wifi, so I brought freelance work.
My freelance has been growing by leaps and bounds. I now have two steady clients that are keeping me busy, and finally see that I will be making enough money to supplement our income. Steve is on workman's comp still but was told last week he could never go back to his bread route job. He's only 55, and only 18 months from full retirement fromt he teamsters.
We are shooting at the American Pool Players Nationals this week for 8 ball. This is our second time to go to Nationals, we went two years ago for 9 ball. I will say this trip is starting otu a whole lot smoother than the last one! We missed our flight, had to stay over at our own cost in Chicago, when we got to Vegas, they had not saved our rooms even tho we were guaranteed late arrival.
Gotto go, almost time to board and I have to make a pit stop! Keep up on my ventures, here on my blog!
