There are many today who say that the idea of being Thankful is reserved only to the Universe. While I understand that this is due to a person's lack of understanding of an actually real and personal Creator and Savior for me I am Thankful to God for all that I have gone through-Some might say " but you are missing out on so much or what I can offer you is so much better"--define Better--for me I have found that being thankful every day has made me stronger than many of you realize about me-tho some may think they know the real me when they read my poems or Blogs I have learned to accept every roadblock-mountain-dragons of despair and fight them head on with my faith in a miracle working God--it has made the kid who had for an outstanding characteristic in High School of being
" Silent " the kid afraid to talk or write a single poem-the kid who only imagined in his mind see the power and truth in being Thankful to God-in an event that could have had me killed or still in prison I decided to be Thankful in Grade 12 one week-thankful and let God deal with my Anger and Hate-after 5 days my disgust fell away from me
I believe in being Thankful to God-some will say Gratitude -ok fine LOL
" be Thankful in ALL things for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus"(I Thessalonians 5:18)
When I am thankful I am literally infused with strength to be a Knight strong in the Grace given to me--if I ran from every situation or didn't believe in the Impossible why would I write poetry?--I choose to be thankful tho some will sneer and some silently mock-I know that long ago if had chosen to live in my hate I would be dead by now for a long time or in prison
What prisons are you locked away in right now? Try being Thankful to God and here is a powerful prayer to pray and this goes out to anyone
BUT
be careful this is a prayer God will answer no matter where you are in ways that will amaze you I am sure
go outside today--look up into the sky and say
" God prove to me that you exist and that you want me to belong to you forever"
