Life is never promised to be a fun time-it is from the moment of birth a time of crying, struggle and shock at each new thing that comes before us. In time we learn to adapt to our circumstances and forge ahead to be the person that we were destined to be. Some give up part way through their lives either because of what they feel is a hopeless situation or for whatever reason but each of us should learn that we are all on a race to be all that we were meant to be. Hopefully if God gets into your life and purpose He can help you to make sense of things and allow you to read His word-as it is His Instruction Manual for you to conquer the Dragons in your path. When I look back over the pages of my life and the seemingly endless chapters that I felt would never end I know like the familiar poem
" Footprints in the sand"---that there were times I felt I could not go on without divine help--Now I realize some will scoff at this and say something like " A poet who goes by the name Dark Knight-and he writes about God???"
and he writes at times Passionate romantic poetry--I am still a man who believes in Love and still hoping to be the best that God wants me to be--Poetry is only a mild diversion----the real me goes beyond Poetry-I am running my own path down strange crooked paths-painful at times and even at times very lonely but paths which I feel has made me stronger and has formed many of the poems you read
I often wonder what race you are on dear reader and what has made you to be the Poet you are today---perhaps you will comment at the end and tell me???
