Why does someone write when friends and family members may look at them and think-are you crazy? No one these days argues with a manager or an athlete in striving in their fields to earn more money and do what they enjoy doing. But when a person write a novel or poetry one hears sometimes
" what a waste of time!" Time? To do what exactly else?? A person who writes is doing what their lives have been destined to be.To be a poet or a writer and from their soul and mind to write in ink or on a computer is as much of a Joy for them as one who works long hours trying to make more money and even win another game.
My Joy is found in writing. It's true I may never be famous as some are but the achievement of fame is not why I write. I write because for me it is my song of Joy. To write is a gift from God. Now some will smirk I am sure and think" God?? what does He have to do with it?"
That is easy for me as this world and Universe is His design and even this body I walk about in is more complex and to believe in evolution would seem to require more faith-that some gasses or goop made me what I am doing today.
Nothing anywhere escapes the attention of God-whether you are in the Andes in a small chapel or the North Pole and yet I believe God is near you. I believe He silently dances with Joy as you stir up His gift in you. His Gift of writing for you is His declaration of Eternal Love. Your use of that gift is a humble respect for His Love for you before you were even born...and that is not news BUT that too is Reality
