Elevators and Me

When I am alone in an elevator I think of an old movie with Jacqueline Bisset----gorgeous brunette in a fur coat and sharply dressed. The elevator stops suddenly--the phone rings and its the hotel maintenance telling us not to be alarmed-the elevator will be fixed in less than an hour. I imagine that Jackie(If she doesn't me calling her that) whispers seductively about " Body Warmth"-making me wonder if those fur coats are awfully cheap and thin? In the time it takes for me to hang up the phone, she has pushed me tight against a wall and all I can say is the hour goes quick--the scene is X-rated and Jackie licks my throat and says

" By the way I know where you post your poetry and your writing turns me on"

she slips a card into my pocket...the elevator suddenly moves, the door opens, photographers are there and she turns to me and says

" Forgive me but I am a Movie star and I have an image to protect-but call me!"

She slaps my face hard and yells " Men!!" and she gets out

my picture is taken

the door shuts and carries me to the next floor

yes

me and elevators and that's not news BUT that too is Reality
