Sometimes when I hear of people blowing themselves up for what they believe will be a reward of 72 Virgins after they die I start to wonder. Like the comedian I once heard who said he heard of a joke once where a suicide bomber goes to his idea of heaven and is met by 72 people-old and young and they are all Americans. The suicide bomber says ' why are these infidels here for?' Well says a voice " it seems there was a mis-translation-there are no 72 female Virgins but 72 Virginians here to kick your butt"
Now we can laugh at that but the taking of human life all for what a person believes is God's will makes me wonder if this Allah is all powerful as some Muslims believe then why doesn't this Allah take revenge on his enemies-why use a human to do it?
Also can somebody explain to me why the suicide bombers are not older men-the so called religious leaders who are telling the young to blow themselves up? Isn't it better to be an example? ...dead silence on the older generation--also did life seem so boring for these young people that they threw their lives away forever?
And where did they find these people-lonely hearts club of men and women who couldn't get a date?? Did they answer an ad" can't get a date-strike out with women-be a suicide Bomber-and after death you will get 72 Babes who can't keep their hands off you"
the God I believe in is a God of Love and offers salvation into Heaven as a free gift to anyone who repents and asks his Son Jesus into their lives
I wonder how God feels about people willing to kill others for Him? and what will it be like for the suicide bombers to meet Him face to face one day and find out that wasn't really His plan for their lives-time will tell and that is not news BUT that too is reality
